The Challenge
Imano were invited to create an app that would guide business users around London, directing them to places they would find both relevant and interesting. Quality and usability were of the upmost importance in the development of the application.
Strategy
Our aim was to create an app for business travelers with limited time in London looking for a fully featured iPhone application to guide them around the city. The app features a wealth of information and includes high-end functionality to navigate around various points of interest (POI). The app serves as a useful tool and enhances the visibility of the Hitachi brand for the target business market.
The app provides the user with directions via integrated offline maps, as well as the option to be guided back to their hotel or book a taxi to get to their destination. A section on the history of London offers insightful information on the cities past.
As a brand focused on creating innovative products, the quality of the app was of the utmost importance. The design team created a stunning, streamlined design, which was in tune with the clients desire for functionality and quality aesthetic.
Results
Imano were able to deliver the app through a combination of an efficient working structure and tight deadlines. Hitachi Traveler is now available on iPhone and has received glowing reviews from its initial rollout.
